Why Trinity?

Trinity High School's family-oriented community atmosphere, college-prep curriculum, Pre-Professional Internship Program and life-changing religious formation program makes Trinity an attractive option for students and families from across northeast Ohio. Here are some facts about Trinity you might not have known:

  • Trinity students come from more than 30 different zip codes across northeast Ohio—a sign that families choose Trinity because of our programs and offerings instead of a high school that might be close to home.

  • Are you the only student coming to Trinity from your grade school? You are not alone! Members of the Class of 2027 come frommore than 30 different grade schools.

  • Our block schedule means a lighter workload, smaller classes, more time for one-on-one instruction with teachers and a better school-life balance for students.

  • Over 65 businesses and organizations in the greater Cleveland area see the potential in our students and the Pre-Professional Internship Program. This represents a significant investment from the community, and plenty of opportunities for professional experiences beyond the classroom for our students.

  • The Class of 2023 received over $6.9 million in scholarships and grant money from 39 colleges and universities.

  • 85 percent of last year's seniors indicated that they will go on to study at the collegiate level.

  • Trinity's unique Pre-Professional Internship Program has been featured in Newsweek,Cleveland Magazine, the CollegeBoard's Catalog of Effective Practices and Momentum, the official journal of the National Catholic Educational Association.

  • 30+ members of Trinity's student body have parents who are Trinity graduates.

Our challenging curriculum and dedicated teachers help students achieve academic success. Consistent with Trinity's college-prep curriculum, our block schedule is like the schedules used in America's colleges and universities where students focus on four classes each term. Students take four classes from August-January, then start fresh with four new classes from mid-January to June.

In order to receive a Trinity High School diploma, a student must earn 28.5 credits from high schools chartered by the State of Ohio Department of Education. This, coupled with the experience of the Pre-Professional Internship Program, makes for a well-rounded student prepared for the academic rigor found at the collegiate level.
