Academic Clubs

Environmental Club

The environmental club's purpose is to actively embrace the Catholic social issue of being stewards of the earth. The students in this club noticed many ways in which Trinity could be more involved with this issue. The club's main focus this year is paper recycling. Future projects include plastics recycling, campus cleanup and involvement in the state of Ohio's Green Rivers Project.

National Honor Society

Moderator: Mr. Kevin Marszal

Chapter Bylaws of Trinity High School's Chapter of the National Honor Society

The Honor Society chapter establishes rules for membership that are based upon a student's outstanding performance in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership and character. These criteria for selection form the foundation upon which the organization and its activities are built. Juniors and seniors may apply for membership.

Saint Anthony Society

The Saint Anthony Society for Academic Excellence recognizes those seniors whose academic achievements have placed them in the top ten percent of their graduating class. This society honors the memory of Saint Anthony, the first Franciscan to teach theology to the members of Saint Francis' order.

Spanish Club

The Spanish Club provides students the opportunity to participate in cultural activities that often cannot be accomplished within the regular daily school schedule. Students who have studied Spanish as well as those who are presently studying Spanish are invited to join the club. Meetings are usually held once a month after school. Annual dues are $5. Club activities include:

  • attending cultural performances at Playhouse Square
  • visiting exhibits at The Cleveland Museum of Art
  • dining at local Hispanic restaurants
  • Christmas caroling in Spanish at Marymount Place
  • an International Pot Luck dinner for club members and their families.
