FraternitasDay

After last week's postponement of Fraternitas Day due to poor weather, students were anxious to take a break from their classes to recognize our fall sports teams and join their schoolmates for some friendly competition around campus.

The whole point of Fraternitas Day is family. The word "fraternitas" is a Latin word that the early followers of St. Francis of Assisi used to describe their brotherhood with each other.

Each team was made up of a faculty captain and students from all grade levels who competed in individual events like trivia, bag toss, musical chairs and even a slip-and-slide, then a huge obstacle course at the end. Everyone enjoyed a pizza lunch outside before the games got underway.

The Trinity Family also took time on Friday to recognize our fall sports teams, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Boys and Girls Soccer, Volleyball, and give their best wishes for a successful season. Follow along with them all season @TrinityHSSports and www.thsathletics.org!
