SophRetreat

This Monday, August 27, the Class of 2021 will embark on their second all-class retreat at Camp Christopher. The overall focus of the retreat is bringing the sophomores closer to God as they begin to reflect on their faith and how it affects them at this point in their lives. The sophomores will also grow closer to a dedicated team of faculty members and senior students who have been planning the retreat since July. Please keep the sophomores and the retreat leaders in your prayers on Monday as they experience their retreat!

Information for parents and sophomores
Sophomore Retreat is a day-long retreat. Students should arrive at school Monday morning at the normal time. After morning announcements, faculty and staff members will assist the sophomores in loading buses that will take them to Camp Christopher. Parents should plan to pick up their sophomores at approximately 9:00 PM Monday at Trinity.

Students will be well-fed on retreat, so there is no need to bring lunch, snacks, etc. They should not bring backpacks. It is also highly recommended that girls do not bring purses unless they are necessary. The weather forecast is calling for sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s—a perfect day for this retreat. Many portions of the retreat take place outside, so students should wear comfortable clothes (shorts are permitted) and shoes appropriate for mild hiking.

Most importantly, students should come to retreat with an open heart and an open mind, willing to experience whatever God has in store for them!
