During this past Lenten season, the Trinity Family truly rallied around our community service project for Maggie's Place. Each week of Lent brought a different donation theme, ranging from essential baby items, to household supplies, to mom supplies and food. All of the items donated were bundled together in gift baskets and distributed at a baby shower Thursday evening at Trinity. Faculty and students came together to plan and host the shower in honor of seven moms (one new and six expecting!) from Maggie's Place.

Maggie's Place provides life-changing programs and services for pregnant and parenting women and their children by offering a warm and welcoming community, a safe place to live and learn, and on-going services to help them become self-sufficient. In addition to the Lenten service project, students and faculty have provided various types of service this year to Maggie's Place, located on the campus of St. Monica Parish in Garfield Heights.

Thanks to everyone who donated to this important service project, and especially to the students and teachers involved with making the shower such a memorable experience for moms in need.
