Students, faculty and staff were welcomed back to Trinity this week for what promises to be a great 2018-19 school year!

Members of the faculty and staff did not waste any time getting back into the swing of things on Monday. They gathered for an opening prayer service and a small retreat led by Sister Cheryl Rose, HM, that encouraged them to focus on their ministry to the school and their students during the coming year. The remainder of the day was spent reviewing information, programs and procedures related to ensuring a successful school year.

On Tuesday morning, 30 Student Ambassadors joined the faculty and staff to welcome 108 freshmen and eight transfer students to New Student Orientation. Students spent their first official day at Trinity meeting their teachers, locating and figuring out how to open their lockers, activating their computer network accounts, and hearing an inspirational message from Trinity's Ministry Team. With the addition of these 116 new students, Trinity saw a 6% increase in total enrollment from last school year to this year.

All students returned on Wednesday for the first full day of the school year. As it was a holy day of obligation, the Trinity Family came together in the afternoon to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption and our opening Mass. During the day on Thursday, students attended classes, enjoyed a back-to-school donut treat, and met with members of the administration, Guidance, and Internship departments to cover important information for the year.

Fraternitas Day, Trinity's annual team-building and activity day, which normally takes place on the first Friday of the school year, was postponed due to inclement weather. Students will participate in Fraternitas Day, along with our fall sports rally, next Friday, August 24.

We extend a warm welcome back to all members of the Trinity Family, and hope you have a great school year!
