The Trinity Troubadours performed beautifully at the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine in Manhattan for a morning concert during their spring break trip to the Big Apple. The Cathedral is the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world, and has the most glorious acoustics for singing!

Both the THS Singers and Concert Band performed amazingly at an outdoor concert the same day, a chilly afternoon at Lincoln Center, right in front of the Metropolitan Opera House! Cold fingers and vocal chords gave an energetic performance of Broadway Show tunes to over 100 onlookers who stayed transfixed for the whole concert!

While in NYC, the group, under the direction of Mrs. and Mr. Cochran (aided by Trinity Moms, Mrs. Griggs, Mrs. Marino, and Mrs. Morgan, and alum Ms. Sarah Brogdon), shopped in Times Square, saw Disney's Aladdin on Broadway, took a Broadway song and dance workshop with an actor from Aladdin, went to the top of the Empire State Building, walked through Central Park, reverently toured the National September 11 Memorial & Museum at Ground Zero, took a harbor cruise at night and saw the Statue of Liberty lit up, and ate at some famous restaurants! All in all, the trip was a rousing success!
